As Alive

"At first I thought it was a photo!" Such comments are often left under the paintings of Taisiya Nazarieva in her personal account in social networks. And, of course, this is a compliment: the dogs whose portraits the artist paints really look like they are alive!

Every hair, the wet leather nose, the famous dog look…

However, the woman does not paint only dogs: she is an animal painter, and her portraits depict cats, owls, other animals and birds.

And this has lasted for already 10 years. Taisiya tells about it this way: "My creative journey began at the age of 7, when I first went to school, where I painted the entire desk in the first week. My mum had to wash it, of course. Apparently it was so difficult and not particularly pleasant that she said when she returned home: "If you're an artist, then you'll go to the art school!" And I went! At first they didn't want to take me, because I was too small, but they made an exception for me, because I really wanted to! And so Taya learned to draw from the age of 7 to 17..."

She learned, and now she does it like this:

"I live by pastels and my beautiful models. I love all living things without exception. I think every animal is beautiful!" the artist says.

Moreover, Taisiya knows all the dog breeds.Each portrait is signed, for example, as follows: "I am drawing a cute Malamute dog such a soft breed expression of the muzzle, I'm crazy about it."
